FLOATING CYLINDER
In aerial work vehicles, the floating cylinder is a hydraulic actuator with special functions. It is usually installed at the connection between the work platform and the boom, the boom extension or luffing joint, or the auxiliary support of the legs or chassis. It is mainly used for adaptive posture adjustment of the lifting mechanism (such as the boom and work platform). Its core function is to enable the operating device to have “floating” characteristics under specific working conditions to adapt to changes in the external environment or operational requirements, thereby ensuring work safety and efficiency.
