LUFFING CYLINDER-2
In a fire engine, the luffing cylinder is usually installed at the connection point between the main boom and the slewing platform, or at the joint of multi-section boom arms. It is the core hydraulic actuating component that drives the boom to achieve the adjustment of the elevation angle, directly determining the lifting height, working radius and working range of the boom, and is the “power joint” of the boom system.
