PLUNGER LOCKING CYLINDER
In an aerial work platform, the plunger locking cylinder is a hydraulic actuating component used for the mechanical locking of key components (such as the boom, outriggers, etc.). It is typically installed at the hinge points of the boom, the support areas of the outriggers, or the rotation joints of the turntable. Its core function is to achieve “rigid locking” through the extension and retraction of the plunger, and it cooperates with the hydraulic system to enhance the stability and safety of the working device. It plays a crucial role especially when the hydraulic system loses pressure or needs to be fixed for a long time.
