SHOVEL PLATE CYLINDER
In the working mechanism of the tunneling machine, the SHOVEL PLATE CYLINDER is usually arranged in pairs (one on each side), with the cylinder body hinged to the body or the track frame of the tunneling machine. The end of the piston rod is hinged to the connecting ear seat of the bucket, forming a lever-driven structure centered on the hinge axis between the bucket and the body. It is a key hydraulic actuating component for controlling the lifting or swinging of the bucket, and is mainly used to adjust the working height and posture of the bucket, cooperating with the loading mechanism to complete the collection and transportation of the cut materials. It is an important link in the “cutting – loading – transportation” operation cycle of the tunneling machine.
